Dr Siviter was very clear in his explanation of what would happen and then everything did happen exactly as he described, which was very helpful in putting me at ease. I don’t know what I said to Dr Siviter when I came round from the GA after the operation (probably some complete nonsense), but he was very calming and assured. All the anaesthetics worked exactly as they should and I felt very little discomfort which can only mean the anaesthetist did a good job!
